• 01Do you implement specific platforms like Odoo or Keycloak?

  Yes. We implement and run mature open-source platforms end-to-end. Most often Odoo and ERPNext (ERP, CRM, accounting, inventory), Keycloak (SSO and identity), OpenMRS and HAPI FHIR (clinical records and healthcare interoperability), and Apache Superset, Metabase, and ClickHouse (analytics, dashboards, and event data). The path is the same in each case: deploy to your infrastructure, white-label the theme to match your brand, configure modules and workflows to fit how you actually operate, and stay on a support plan so you don’t need a full-time OSS specialist on payroll. Support engagements start at $2,000 per month and you can cancel any month.

• 02Why do you default to open-source?

  Because you should own what you pay to build. Open foundations remove license traps, eliminate vendor lock-in, and give you a system you can host, audit, fork, and extend forever. We’ll always recommend a proprietary tool when it genuinely fits, but we won’t make it the load-bearing wall of your business.

• 03How does pricing work?

  Fixed scope, fixed price. We start with a paid audit or diagnostic so both sides understand the work, then quote the build as a single number against clear deliverables. No surprise hourly invoices, no scope creep tax. For ongoing work we offer monthly retainers you can leave at any time.

• 04Who owns the code and the IP?

  You do. From day one. We push to a repository you own, document what we build, and hand over admin to every system we deploy. If you want to fire us and run everything yourself the next day, you can.

• 05You’re in Nairobi. Will time zones be a problem?

  No. EAT (UTC+3) gives us a full workday overlap with Europe, the Middle East, and most of Asia, and an afternoon overlap with the US East Coast. Most clients find communication faster than with their previous agencies, not slower.

• 06What’s the smallest engagement you’ll take?

• 07Do you work with non-technical founders?

  Often. We translate between business problems and engineering decisions, recommend the smallest thing that solves the problem, and explain trade-offs in plain language. You don’t need to know what Postgres is to work with us.
